What we do is provide opportunities for independent artists to be consistently seen and heard in cities all over the United States.  Places that would not normally be accessible to these artists.  Whether it’s Miami, New York, Los Angeles, etc, any artist can perform.  We do not discriminate.  We present the opportunity for exposure, but it is up to the artist and their team to maximize that opportunity.  We have been producing this tour for five consecutive years with each year being more successful than the year before.  We average about 300-800 people per show, depending on the city. Naturally, the bigger cities draw bigger crowds and smaller cities draw a little less.



G.M.S.H. UPDATE

We’re looking for the best overall 5-6 artists to co-headline next year’s tour. If an artist is selected, they’d be paid up to $5,000 in 2-3 months to co-headline the 7th annual G.M.S.H. Tour. We’ll cover all travel & hotel expense. And if we really like an artist, depending on availability, we could possibly add them to the remaining dates of this tour. This is a great opportunity for any artist serious about taking their careers to the next level.

At DBBS, we value character traits just as much as talent. Talent is definitely important, but that can be developed over time. By the time an individual becomes an adult, their character pretty much is what it is. We value qualities such as discipline, work ethic, integrity, honesty, reliability, punctuality, marketability, versatility, stage presence, and fan support. Those are the areas of emphasis when we evaluate talent. We use these events to evaluate the aforementioned qualities in structured environment.

PERFORMANCE DETAILS

As far as performing goes, sets are 7 minutes. Co-headline sets are 7 minutes. The doors at our concerts usually open at 8pm. Artists are required to be at show site within the first 30 minutes that venue is open. Late arrivals only cause confusion once the show starts. Artists are required to bring 1 show discs and USB drive to each concert. We encourage every artist to bring as much promotional materials as possible (Flyers, Cds, mixtapes, posters, etc.
